Lymphoma involving the nervous system has protean manifestations. We will focus on
Primary CNS Lymphoma, Intra-ocular Lymphoma, Intravascular Lymphoma and Neuro-lymphomatosis.
Each has characteristic features but do present difficulties in diagnosis. There have
been significant advances in therapy, particularly the use of chemotherapy and concerns
with the use of whole brain radiation therapy because of the risk of significant neurotoxicity
in those who survive. There is controversy as to the best chemotherapy regime. As
many of these patients are elderly, the toxicity of therapy is a major issue.
